./ About the project
Suspension is a UX variation of the Blue Origin's enterprise of New Shepard mission, providing an extraordinary experience to the first space tourists.

In collaboration with the design studio Sketchin during a Digital Art Direction master course, my team and i wanted to design a special storytelling related to this exclusive service. And great space passionate like me couldn't miss this special opportunity!
./ Creative Concept and Design
We focused on the exclusivity and extraordinary nature of the experience offered by Blue Origin, which is the fulcrum of the project. What can you offer to people who can afford a product like this? The answer resides in the experience itself. Suspension focuses on the moments in which space tourists float in the vehicle. We assumed that this kind of suspension could be something more that just a literal levitation: a new mental condition that you have to share with the rest of human kind, a spiritual elevation that helps to understanding the wholeness of our Earth.

./  A real challenge
In my opinion the real challenge in this kind of project was avoiding a commonplace narration and push on the accelerator the meaning and the storytelling of the experience. As a movies and comics lover, i read and studied The Writer's Journey by Christopher Vogler. We decided that we had to adapt the journey of the hero to our target, offering an absolutely new point of view, like the one they would have in the space.
As said before i love reading about space and i knew the 'Overview Effect', a special sensation perceived by astronauts by viewing our planet from a different point of view. It makes them understanding the importance of life and the cohesion of human kind. By having astronaut's stories read, our customer would get the scope of his experience.
